Sparks flew on New Year’s Eve 2015. It was love at first sight, and the distance between them was nothing for the whirlwind of love that had swept them away.
She knew after a week or two that he was the one.
This past October, he devised a sweet little plan to ask her to be his bride. He asked her to go and check a deer cam with him (which she wasn’t necessarily thrilled to do), promising her that he’d take her out to dinner afterwards.
He led her up a huge hill, overlooking the beautiful Wisconsin terrain. At the top of the hill, waited 8 carved & lit pumpkins that spelled, “Marry Me?”
She whipped around to find him behind her, on one knee, where he asked her to spend the rest of her life with him.
Overwhelmed by joy, she immediately cried, “Yes!” as she dove into him. (She hadn’t even looked at the ring! Could this get any cuter??)
And that brings us to their beautiful snowy wonderland engagement session!
We knew that we’d be shooting in the snow, but figured maybe after the holidays. The first snowstorm of the year, we decided to give it a GO! at Dorothy Carnes Park in Fort Atkinson, where the roads leading there were terrifying, but these beauties were SO worth it!
And I need to say that these two, these sweet souls, are so joyful and lucky-in-love, I could barely deal with them! I keep getting so lucky to link arms with such amazing couples <3 Here’s to your next favorite power-couple, inspiring y’all to love the snowfall just a little bit more!
I am so unbelievably elated to be their wedding photographer, just because I am so literally in love with them! It can’t come soon enough! <3
