While that number of ‘togetherness’ is actually closer to 2,550+, my heart is still so full over the fact that we’ve reached a milestone anniversary!
5 years, 4(44 — don’t ask), 3 kids, 2 businesses, 1 house, and a promise: you, and always you.
Our story is so loaded. Our marriage, so tested. Our life, so blessed. There has been change, and not enough change at the same time. It’s been a ROLLERCOASTER (ask Nick) of emotions as we wade through this season of life—from overwhelming, to overflowing with joy.
It’s crazy to think about how much this man has loved me despite my many, many faults, flaws, and reasons not to. I love that he always works so hard for our family & for me—how he pushes us to new heights and only ever changes for the better.
I can’t thank him enough for always keeping me accountable, especially when I just want to hide. I can’t thank him enough for his grace and patience, though his response is always a sigh followed by, “I could be more patient…”
Thanks for being my businessman, second shooter, and my level-headed source of calm. Thanks for being an amazing father to our amazing, wild kiddos. Thanks for being everything I’ll ever want and need in a man. I wish I could fancy-up those thank-you’s, but it’s really all I can find to say. Thank you for everything. You have all of my respect (and all of my heart, obviously), for yeva.
Here’s to many, many more years of marriage with you, lovebug.
