Engagement Session at Lion’s Den Gorge
Paul’s parents have prayed for his future bride since he was a baby, so God ordained this union, and wrote them the sweetest love story.
Morgan & Paul met in 7th grade Spanish class. She told her mom about the cute guy from her class, and it turned out that her mom was his bus driver! After her mom had talked to him, she came to Morgan and said, “Morgan, I met the boy you’re going to marry.”
On a gorgeous August morning, Paul took Morgan to Lake Michigan. They reminisced over their important dates. Their ‘dating’ anniversary, the day they went to prom, along with some others.
“But my favorite day of all,” he said to her, “is July 19th. That’s the day I asked your dad permission to marry you.”
At that moment, he knelt down onto one knee, and asked her to be his wife. She had no idea it was going to happen–she was completely blindsided, and of course, said YES!
(We may or may not have mangled this poor branch for this shot, LOL!)
I met these two TWO years ago, at Jacob & Rosie Sheet’s wedding! Paul was his best man, and Morgan was her maid of honor. Ever since I’d met them, and saw their love for each other, I’d hoped that one day I would be the lucky photographer for their someday-wedding. When I received their inquiry, to say I jumped for joy is an UNDERSTATEMENT!
Nick and I had the incredible honor of serving them and their amazing families by photographing their wedding this passed Saturday, and it was gorgeous and filled to the brim with so much love.
This engagement session happened just about a week & a half ago! Working with them was SO joyful, so fun, and so easy. Their love and joy are so radiant, I was completely inspired by their sweet-heartedness, I couldn’t wait for the big day! Luckily, I didn’t have to wait long.
Their wedding sneak peek will be here soon, keep your eyes peeled! Until then, enjoy their sweet engagement gallery by clicking below.
Congratulations, Morgan & Paul! You deserve all the love in the whole world. <3
Thank you so, so much for sharing the light of Jesus with everyone that crosses your path.
