Casey & Logan said “I do!” at the place where it all began–Carroll University, where they were set up to meet by their best man, Kyle! They have officially become Mr. & Mrs. Mathews in a beautiful, fun ceremony, filled with laughter and love. The details were beautiful, from stunning makeup and hair, the dreamiest dress, lush flowers, and a precious perfume! (I mean precious literally, because it’s discontinued! It’s now become the very-special occasion fragrance for the new Mr. & Mrs.) Casey also wore an heirloom diamond around her neck, and a gorgeous aqua stone that was thought to be costume jewelry, but was discovered to be REAL!
Casey looked positively radiant as she walked down the aisle with her father (who, by the way, positively sparkled in a sparkly suit!) My favorite vow, (loosely quoted), was: “I promise never to keep score, even though I’m winning.” And this photo below, her sweet grandmother watching as her beautiful granddaughter gets married, the most precious moments! We loved this wedding!
Also, asking for a friend, is it weird to MISS a wedding party?? Because this one was the best! After the ceremony, we made our way over to Frame Park, and photos were a blast. I’m not sure if there was a dull moment at all, happy laughter and happy tears abound! <3 (Like this photo below–I cried real tears. These are the moments that make everything worthwhile, these are the real wedding moments I am so blessed to witness!)
Their celebration took place at the Silver Springs Golf Club in Memonomee Falls. It was a beautiful setting for lovely floral centerpieces, a table-number quote game (whoever was able to guess the most quotes from each table won a prize!), heartfelt speeches, and amazing food, and even more AMAZING CHEESECAKE!
And there’s so much more! Casey and her father surprised her grandpa during their dance by cutting him in halfway to dance with her. Casey also led the reception in a Zumba routine (she used to instruct a class at Carroll!), they had an impromptu sparkler exit with the wedding party, and all around, it was just a perfect day.
So here’s to you, the New Mathews! We hope you both felt loved beyond measure on your special day, because you are!
Nick and I wish you both a lifetime of love and happiness! <3
