CHILDHOOD SWEETHEARTS AT THE MADISON ARBORETUM
Taryn & Marc have known each other for FOREVER! They’ve gone to school together their whole lives, and Marc’s crush on this beauty began in 7th grade. Despite an attempt at being friend-zoned, his persistence paid off and she finally agreed to date him. (He asked her to be his girlfriend in her kitchen, and poor Marc was sweating so much that her dad thought he was going to pass out!) And just look at them! Don’t they just LOOK like they were meant to be?? They’re the best of friends, and a love we can all hope for <3
So, how did he pop the question? For their six year dating anniversary, Marc took Taryn, and his bother & sister-in-law to Chicago, and surprised her with a helicopter ride over the city! She was initially freaked out because she’s afraid of heights, but she was excited at the same time. So when it was time to load up onto the helicopter, a photo was taken of them, then they were off! Marc hadn’t said much for the entire ride, but she didn’t really notice for fear of flying and amazement at the experience. When the tour was over, and they were coming back down, the pilot said to her, “So, somebody was blinking in their picture and we’ll have to retake it. Yeah, I’m talking to you, Wisconsin!” Poor Taryn was so embarrassed and apologized several times. As they descended, she looked down at the big window where they had left his brother and his wife, only to find that both of their entire families were waiting and waving! (Cue the waterworks, and Taryn finally catching up to what was going on!) They exited the plane, and he proposed in front of the helicopter and their families. What an actual, BEAUTIFUL whirlwind of a proposal story!
Now for their engagement session! These complete and total cuties ROCKED their session with flying (fall) colors! We shot at the Madison Arboretum, and it was a complete and total dream. <3
Congratulations again, darlings! I am SO happy for you both to share such a beautiful love story, and can’t wait for your beautiful wedding! It’s going to be a perfect day, without a doubt!
